Route: 995m = 3265' ascent; 9 miles: 5.2 miles on track, 3.8 miles on hill; 4½ hrs

Comment: A short walk; easily combined on same day with Ben Vane.
Route: The ascent is also possible from just S of Ardlui (2.4 miles from Burnside Cottage to summit trig post), and from Ardvorlich (see SMC "The Munros" guide book for more detail).
Weather: Total cloud cover, cloud base 3000', occasionally clearing summit. Increasingly stiff breeze, dry, 12°C-13°C at car.
Terrain: Soft, patchy old snow on tops.
